The average speed of the winning team was 29.7 MPH, which puts the level of competition at the next bikeathon (22 May 2005) into perspective. May Pen road an excellent TTT, slowly gaining time on the West end/ Cutters team, especially after they lost Brenton at about 5 miles into the race. The second place team did well to finish 2 minutes behind, as they escorted Mavin to the finish line. Montego Bay 1 and 2 held on well to complete the course in a fairly decent time.
