This was the fastest race yet. The wind wasn't as high as the previous race and 27 cyclists came out ready to race. Stredwick and Dean " Flowers" Martin made a break in the 1st lap, and worked hard to stay away for the entire race. The field couldn't get organized to bring the in, with good individual efforts by Bowen and Brenton but no help from the group. Team Performance rode well, as Flowers beat Stredwick in a nail biting sprint finish and Martin Dennis and Oneil placed in the top 6.
