Paramount Trading Time Trial Results
Route: 10.5 Mile Circuit- Port Royal - Airport Roundabout - Port Royal
Kenardo Dunn captured the event in 24 min 17 sec, just one second shy of the record for this year held by Tinga Turner. Oneil Samuels took second place honours, and a surprising finish for 3rd place, the sprinter Andy Myers- back in form.
We have also seen some new faces on the podium in category 3 and 4. Mavin "Cutty Boo" Anderson finished 3rd overall, Wayne "Horseman" Brown second and Clayton "Wheelbarrow" Whyte snatching 1st place with an excellent ride.
We also had an international rider taking 1st place in the Masters category. Paul Perry of Aerospace Engineering/Jamis in Florida, completed the course in 27.07. Second was Albert Thomas of Blisset and Warren Gibbs 3rd.
Congrats to all the winners, and I must commend the effort that these guys have been putting in to prepare for these races. Most riders have improved their time and special mention must be made for Patrick "Jet" Lee who shaved about 35 seconds off his previous time to finish 5th in the CAT 1&2. We may need to look out for him in National Championships in August.
